Keep your backlog clean with automated health diagnostics that detect stale, unowned, unestimated, and duplicated tickets.
Summary: VectorKan calculates an automated Backlog Health Score (0–100) per project, pinpointing stale tickets, unestimated work, and orphaned tasks with one-click bulk fixes.
The Backlog Health Score
Navigate to Projects → Backlog. At the top of the list, VectorKan grades your backlog health based on key indicators:
- Stale Tickets: Issues with no activity or comment updates for more than 45 days.
- Unowned Work: Backlog items without an assignee.
- Missing Estimates: Issues in upcoming sprints lacking story point sizing.
- Orphaned Issues: Tasks linked to archived epics or missing sprint targets.
Bulk actions
Select multiple backlog cards using checkboxes to perform batch updates: bulk-assign team members, adjust priorities, move tickets into a sprint, or archive outdated items.
