Summary: Incoming client requests land in a dedicated triage queue. Internal teams can inspect requests, reply to clients, or convert requests directly into board tickets.

The Requests triage queue

Client submissions do not clutter your board automatically. They appear in Projects → Requests with urgency indicators (Low, Normal, High, Critical).

Converting a request to a ticket

  1. Open the request from the triage queue.
  2. Review the customer's description and contact information.
  3. Click Convert to issue.
  4. VectorKan creates a project ticket (e.g. PORT-42) linked to the original customer request.

Sending customer updates

You can post public updates in the request thread. When you update the request or resolve the linked ticket, the client's private tracking page updates automatically.
