Summary: Every organization in VectorKan runs in an isolated workspace. Projects, tickets, audit records, and billing never cross workspace boundaries.

What is a workspace?

A workspace represents an isolated company or business unit. One user account can be a member of multiple workspaces (e.g., an internal company workspace and a client's workspace) with different roles in each.

Creating a new workspace

  1. Click the workspace name at the top of the sidebar.
  2. Click + New workspace.
  3. Enter your company or agency name and choose a unique slug (URL identifier).
  4. Click Create workspace.

Workspace settings & branding

Owners and Admins can configure workspace settings under Settings:

  • Workspace Name & Slug: Update your public display name.
  • Branding: Upload your company logo and brand colors.
  • Default Issue Templates: Configure standardized ticket layouts for bugs, tasks, and stories.

Permissions

Only users with the Owner role can rename workspaces, manage subscription tiers, or delete workspaces.
