Summary: The customer portal allows external clients to submit requests and follow ticket progress without logging into your internal workspace or consuming paid team seats.

Why zero-seat client portals?

Traditional trackers force agencies to pay expensive seat licenses just so clients can submit bug reports. With VectorKan, your clients submit requests through a secure public form and follow updates using an unguessable tracking token. Clients never cost you a seat.

Enabling the portal

  1. Open your project and select the Requests tab.
  2. Toggle Public request portal to Enabled.
  3. Copy the unique portal URL provided (e.g. https://vectorkan.com/request/{projectId}).
  4. Share this link in client kickoff emails, support pages, or web apps.

What the client sees

Clients see a clean submission form: Title, Description, Name, Email, and Urgency. Upon submitting, they receive a private tracking link (/r/{token}) showing three simple stages: Received, Under Review, and Completed.
