User roles: Owner, Admin, Member, and Viewer
Understand user roles, access privileges, and seat assignments across workspaces.
Summary: VectorKan uses Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) with four standard roles: Owner, Admin, Member, and Viewer.
Role breakdown
- Owner: Full authority over the workspace. Can delete the workspace, transfer ownership, manage billing subscriptions, export all workspace data, and configure security.
- Admin: Can create projects, invite and remove members, configure integrations, create automation rules, and review audit logs. Cannot modify billing ownership.
- Member: Can create, edit, and close tickets, drag board cards, log hours, post comments, and chat in channels.
- Viewer: Read-only access to boards, roadmaps, and tickets; can post comments and download attachments.
